The kayaksailor is a real sailing rig that permits upwind sailing of the kayak, makes efficient use of the sail on all points of the wind and collapses neatly out of the way on the foredeck when not in use. The deployment of this system is very slick, and it can be raised and lowered in seconds. The quality of workmanship is first rate, and there is a considerable amount of attention to detail. I was very impressed with this rig right from the beginning and I have purchased one for my own personal use. It is a perfect compliment to an outrigger equipped kayak, but the smaller version functions well even without the outrigger on a single kayak. I was also impressed with the value of this system. It is a lot of gear at a very reasonable price.

I have abandoned my own sailing rig designs in favor of this really great product.
